Highlights:

• Over 33,000 adults in the UK were surveyed at the start of COVID-19 lockdown.

• About half of drinkers reported drinking about the same as usual.

• A quarter of drinkers reported drinking more than usual over the past week.

• A quarter of drinkers reported drinking less than usual over the past week.

• Being younger or female were associated with drinking more than usual.
