This publication is the 2020 joint report from the two independent charitable companies – Focus Ireland and Focus Housing Association. The details of the finances and governance of the two companies are set out on pages 49–113. The two separate companies provide an integrated service to people who face, or have faced, homelessness, and the personal stories and scale of the impact of this integrated approach are set out in the rest of the report.

2020 was a year like no other. When we were planning in 2019 we knew 2020 was going to be challenging. We were facing the highest level of homelessness ever experienced, and we knew the pressure that would put on our staff and resources across the country.
